Mediatechnics Automates New Jersey On-Demand Production Facility
LAKEWOOD, NJ, Sep 26, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Mediatechnics Corporation (PINKSHEETS: MEDT) announces today it is enhancing its On-demand Fulfillment Service facility in New Jersey by adding automated, high volume packaging equipment. This move brings much greater cost and time efficiency to the expanding services being offered to our customers.
According to company president Richard Wilson, "Our aim is to offer our media customers complete, one-stop handling of their orders." He explains further that once most companies have produced their video, audio or other presentations, they contract with digital media firms to duplicate and package hundreds or thousands of them, then contract with other vendors to handle the shipping to their customers, clients or regional offices. Smaller companies often try to package, warehouse and ship on their own, causing inefficiencies to multiply increasing costs and delaying shipments.
With the recent deployment of our automatic packaging equipment in our New Jersey facility, the expediency and cost savings this new addition brings to the table, we expect to attract a growing numbers of cost-conscious business and corporate accounts; and furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, this new level of automation makes our new DVD marketing site www.MediaShopDVD.com, what is, in our opinion, the most attractive service available for the vast majority of independent media companies. We fully believe that MediaShop can help independent media companies promote and sell their DVDs online much more successfully and profitably than they could ever accomplish on their own and at a much lower cost. For Mediatechnics, it is a very attractive way of adding to bottom line profits.
